Beautifully full bodied, rich red made from partially dried grapes which give this wine it's intense, concentrated flavours. Cherries, blackberries with soft velvety tannins and a long finish. Great wine from a top producer.

In Italian, the name Amarone literally means "the Great Bitter"; originally, this was to distinguish it from the Recioto produced in the same region, which is sweeter in taste.
Made using a drying process which in a greater concentration of flavour in the grapes helping to produce these intense, rich wines.
